TROUBADOUR now available at Beanie+Cecil

TROUBADOUR designer and Wilmington native, Lindsey Carter, is making a name for herself in the fashion world. After growing up in Wilmington, North Carolina and graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Carter moved to New York City to pursue an education in fashion. Carter attended New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and earned a degree in Fashion Design. While in New York City, Carter participated in internships with many prestigious fashion lines such as L.A.M.B, Rebecca Minkoff, and T21 by Elie Tahari. As her knowledge in fashion grew her desire to create her own line grew as well. After working for many different companies such as J Crew, Madewell 1937 and finally golf clothing line Carter Humphrey, Carter knew she had enough experience to create her own fashion line. At last, TROUBADOUR was formed. Lindsey Carter describes her line as being influenced by “the South, the City, and the Sea.” TROUBADOUR’s Lindsey Carter was mentioned in Women’s Wear Daily as a “Designer to Watch.” It is a contemporary and eclectic line that will soon be loved and known by fashionistas coast to coast. Come into Beanie today and check out all of the awesome pieces TROUBADOUR has to offer!
